Do you feel stressed out often? Is it hard to find a balance between school, sports, instruments, and friends? You're not alone. In fact, many people struggle with balancing out their lives. Everyone and everything in your life seems to be important, but you cannot be with everyone, and you cannot do everything. I often struggle with balancing my life around my activities, as I do volleyball, dance, play the french horn, and try to maintain good grades in school. There is always so much pressure to deal with, but it's never too late to improve your balance and time management skills!

Use an agenda or calendar to plan out your week.
Prioritize your schoolwork, activities, and family time, and make sure to divide your time equally between your priorities.
Get things done on time! Say no to distractions.
We all procrastinate, but try to tell your brain that after you finish a task, you can take a break.
Don't be afraid to ask for help! Find friends that share your values, interests, struggles, and will keep you on track.
Never compromise when it comes to spending time with loved ones, hanging out with friends, eating healthy, or getting enough sleep!
